SkyJuice

Massachusetts DEP

SkyJuice has successfully offered Rain Barrel programs for many years. SkyJuice has partnered with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection through Grant Funding enabling Massachusetts communities to offer their residents an opportunity to purchase rain barrels as a special discount.

Though the MA DEP Grant Funded program has ended, SkyJuice is continuing to offer New England communities and organizations the opportunity to purchase rain barrels at a discount. With a minimum order of 20 barrels, community residents will be able to purchase rain barrels for $75. All program barrels are delivered in one shipment prior to a distribution event.

We know you have many rain barrel choices. We want you to know why our SkyJuice Barrel is one of the best barrels on the market. Our rain barrels are designed to be durable and user friendly. We obtain 55-60 gallon food grade barrels and turn them into rain barrels.

Why choose a SkyJuice Rainbarrel?

S Our brass spigot is inserted into a tapped hole approximately 2 inches from the bottom of the barrel. The spigot is turned slightly to allow a regular garden hose to be easily attached. Fine grit that may make it though the debris screen will settle to the bottom.

S Our correctly placed, sized, and tapped overflow can accommodate even a significant downpour. If the homeowner needs a longer overflow hose to move rainwater away from the foundation or to a rain garden, hoses can be purchased at any local hardware store.

S A removable mosquito and debris screen allows you to easily clean away excess debris. Replacements are also available at most local hardware stores.

S The removable lid allows for easy cleaning and also access for quickly filling a garden watering can. The removable lid also allows you to clean the barrel or remove the pollen that goes through any screened entry. It also allows you to store hoses in the winter inside your barrel.
