Your water needs will help to determine the most effective size and use of a SkyJuice New England Rainwater Harvesting System. If you currently depend on a well-water system, rainwater can augment reliance on your well and prevent overdrawing during times of intense peak season use (summer) and regional drought. It also helps defray costs of watering the gardens. Some municipality include in the sewage charge the total water usage. You may be paying a sewage charge for watering your garden.

Household Water Budget

All of the water used in our households is "potable", treated and safe for human consumption. Ninety-five percent of the daily activities involving water in your home do not require treated or "potable" water. These uses include watering your lawn, washing your clothes, flushing toilets and cleaning.

Rainwater is soft and not chemically treated, so it is better for your garden! Rainwater requires less detergent. It is easier on your washing machine and your clothes!
